The firstĀ for domestic SMEs, Power2SME is committed to provide complete support and empower them to achieve growth in this fast paced industry. Located in Gurgaon, our Company is backed with 5 offices sprawled across Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune and Ahmedabad. It stepped into this industry in the year 2012 with a prime objective to 'Empower SMEs to enable growth and is reckoned for enabling small businesses as well as enterprises improve overall productivity and attain measurable value of business through its wide gamut of offerings. Power2SME plays a vital role in acquiring input raw material for SMEs at competitive prices in different categories such as Inks, Chemicals, Metals, Paints, Polymers etc. This enables SMEs to ensure consistent focus on their main business of quick growth, in terms of both revenue as well as development.

Our company is supported by a team of efficient workforce, comprising professionals who are trained and committed to help SMEs achieve their goals and objectives. What distinguishes us in this competition is our unique ability to make our clients engagement a pleasant and fruitful experience. Comprising 120 professionals, our team is expert in sales, marketing, supply chain, human resources, finance and IT.

Recognition and Awards have always been a motivating factor in the success of organization.  Our company has achieved numerous  accolades. In the year 2013, it was chosen amongst the Red Herring's Top 100 Global list and was also selected amongst the Red Herring's Top 100 Asia list for the same year. Our Founder and CEO Mr R Narayan was honoured with the 'Serial Entrepreneur of the Year' award in 2013 at the Entrepreneur India Awards.

Our investors share same ideology as ours that is to explore the opportunities in the growth markets and help in building a sustainable SME network across the country. We have managed to raise 3 rounds of funding from Kalaari Capital, Inventus Capital and Accel Partners. Altogether they have made an investment of USD 15.5 millions in the organization.

We are working with various large, established as well as trusted suppliers so that our clients are guaranteed of the quality product from us. Our suppliers comprise companies such as SAIL, AkzoNobel, IOCL, GAIL, Haldia, etc.

Power2SME began its journey in January 2012 and since then it has witnessed tremendous growth in both numbers as well as the SMEs who came with us. The organization is basically a VC funded company and has recently incorporated Nandan Nilekani as a strategic investor; the firm gets support from its other investors like Kalaari Capital, Accel Partners and Inventus Capital.

Power2SME has established strong tie-ups with some non-banking financial corporations as well so as to extend loans to our SMEs. In the last 3 years we have continuously worked with approximately 30,000 SMEs and have implemented technology to transform their needs for raw material at competitive pricing along with financial assistance with the help of large number of Financial Institutions, company partners.

Kalaari, a $160 million venture company, has been helping people at the early stages of technology oriented firms. With a professional team in Bangalore, the company aids companies that have been offering innovative solutions.

Product Range

A linear polymer, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) or Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is prepared from ethylene by a catalytic process. These are more closely packed structure with a higher density and somewhat higher chemical resistance than Low Density Polyethylene(LDPE). HDPE is  harder and more opaque and it can withstand rather higher temperatures (120 Celsius for short periods, 110 Celsius continuously).

R.Narayan  Founder & Chief Executive Officer

R.Narayan, a qualified Cost Accountant, is the founder & Chief Executive Officer of the company. He has been managing the overall profitability as well as performance of Power2SME. He looks after the overall direction for the business and its growth. His has more than 24 years of experience in general management and sales & marketing. Before establishing this firm, he was the CEO of Denave, India's largest technology powered sales company.

Deepak Gupta - VP Product & Marketing

Deepak Gupta, a graduate in Economics from Delhi University, is blessed with more than 13 years of experience in sales and corporate development for eCommerce, mobile, media & enterprise businesses. Prior to Power2SME, he was the sales head for Apalya, (eBay India), Quest International and BPL. He has done his MBA from IIM Bangalore in marketing & finance.

Kapil Mohan Kumar - VP Client Acquisition & Business Development

Kapil Mohan Kumar has more than 18 years of experience with a degree in Law from University of Delhi. He manages Acquisition & Business Development with both Topline & Bottom line responsibilities. He is a major player in incepting businesses in India for Carrier Refrigeration, Chevron India & Sify Technologies, in various leadership capacities. Before joining Power2SME India, he was the Founder Director of an eCommerce portal in B2C space.

Sumit Bhatia  VP Supply Chain

Sumit Bhatia handles relationships with key suppliers. He negotiates with the contracts to improve supplier base and development of the Supply Chain Logistic network with multiple distribution centres.
